Siún O'Connor is a filmmaker from Walterstown.  After completing an MA in Film & TV Studies in DCU she co-produced her first short film, Mechanic which won the Tiernan McBride Award for Best Short Live Action Film at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2013. 

In 2015 her first feature documentary A Rich Inheritance was commissioned and broadcast on RTÉ.  Another documentary feature Coast to Coast,  was premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2018.  Siún's latest short film Irreverence is a dark comedy about a strained mother-daughter relationship. It marks her debut as a writer/director and the script won 'Best Short Film to Bring Change' at the Paris International Film Festival in January 2021 and premiered in February 2023.


Elaine Gallagher is a writer, director and producer from Moynalty. In 2011 Elaine wrote and directed her first short film, the Screen Ireland-funded dance piece, An Rinceoir (2011), which is currently on the Irish language Junior Certificate syllabus. Subsequent shorts as writer/director/producer include the historical drama, Reel: Irish Women (2016), and the comedies, The Don'ts Of Cycling (2018), and A Fistful of Coupons (2019), which was short-listed for the British Comedy Guide Talent Awards 2020. In 2018 Elaine co-directed the independent comedy-drama feature, The Comeback. Elaine has written for the RTÉ comedy series, The Mario Rosenstock Show (2015), and for children's TV, on RTÉ Junior's Bright Sparks (2022) and Dizzy Deliveries (2022). Last year she co-produced the multi-award winning feature documentary, North Circular.


Lucais Hill, is our youngest member of the board still being a second level student. He is an animator and fine artist, producing in the traditional ways. Don’t let his age fool you, his knowledge of real world economics and politics is not to be underestimated. Having animated in many ways over the years, from pen and paper to stop motion, his knowledge and expertise on these topics is a great value. 


Mick Jordan is a writer and director based in Kells.  He has a BA in Film and has written for TV and radio.  He co-hosts the film review podcast Spoilerama.  Having worked for many years as a software developer he is delighted to finally use his skills for good in designing and maintaining this website.

Aoife Lalor is a full-time Video Editor specialising in Promotional, Educational & Social Media content. As a member of the Meath Film Board Aoife assists in coordinating the festival, producing any graphics needed as well as managing all our social media accounts.


Fionnuala McCormack has a background in documentary and visual arts.Her latest project Cá ndeachaigh mé, a 16mm film visual arts piece, will be exhibited at the as part of the Earagail Arts Festival and was previously shown as part of the Cathedral Arts Festival 2023. Other work includes; directing a mini-tv series with BBC Gaeilge on women’s sexuality and well being, selected participant in the 25th Ji.Hlava Academy, cinematographer for a BFI Flare funded short filmed in Nairobi, Kenya. 


Paul Whelan is a Writer/Director from Meath. He holds a BA Honours Degree in Film. He has written and directed a number of short films having received laurels for his writing. Paul is also the creator and host of Reel Deal Film Talk a podcast that focuses on the filmmaking process and how much-loved films had been created.
